WI Week of River Action

The start of a week where WI members will come together to amplify the message that too little is happening too slowly to clean up our rivers.

What can you do locally to help?
Think about writing to your local MP to keep up the pressure regarding this campaign. The Rivers Trust has a really good page on their website where you can enter in your details and automatically get back the details of your local MP and a draft email template letter that you can either email to them or cut and paste into a formal posted letter. Local charities include the Ouse and Adur Rivers Trust. You can look at their website to make a donantion or volunteer.
Alternatively have a look at the Western Sussex Rivers Trust website, again to make a donation, see how you can get involved and/or volunteer.
