There is a WI event at Brighton Road Baptist Church, Horsham
The speakers are 3 inspirational Women;
• Michaela Wynne Jones - Speaking about her Life and Experiences.
• Linda Schneider - Winner of the Betty Merrit bursary.
• Kim Brinkworth - Her experiences as Lead nurse for the Invictus and Paralympic Games.

Inspiring Women’s awards will be presented to members for their outstanding contribution to the WI and beyond.
Refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle.

If you are not interested in that then why not take part in the WI survey to share your perceptions and experiences of misogyny. The survey can be found on the International Women's Day page of My WI - the closing date is 28 February 2025.

Alternatively, on 7 March 2025 from 12pm-1pm there willbe an online event. Expert speakers will discuss the real-world consequences of misogyny, ways to understand the impacts and steps towards addressing them. Finally, you can mark International Women's Day by writing a letter to your younger self and sharing the wisdom that you wish your younger self had received. A poster to write your message on can be found at mywi.thewi.org.uk/iwd. Write your message and then take a photo of yourself holding it to be shared with the NWFI - closing date 28 February 2025.
